The Number One Exercise to Boost Your Sex Drive

After a hard day at work and taking care of the kids, the two things a woman typically desires the least are exercising and sex. But did you know that exercise and sexual desire are connected and that by doing both of them you'll actually feel and look better? Experts agree that exercise can boost your desire by increasing your energy, reducing stress and anxiety, boosting levels of hormones, and improving your body image.

And safe sex has been found to improve posture, boost self esteem, firm the tummy, buttocks and thighs, plus improve your mood.

What exercise is the best for boosting your sex drive? YOGA! The yoga breath and postures create body awareness. The more in-tune you are with your body, the more confident you'll feel about your ability to please. Yoga also improves flexibility making for creative positions such as splits and straddles for deeper penetration. Other benefits of yoga include an increase in blood flow to your pelvis which heightens sensitivity and increases desire. And yoga strengthens the pelvic floor (i.e. the muscles across the opening of a woman's pelvis) which makes for stronger contractions and a more intense orgasm. Yoga also clears your mind for a deeper understanding of you and your partner's needs and desires.

Try these 3 simple yoga postures for an increase in your libido:

Butterfly: Seated, bring the soles of your feet together. While holding your feet lean forward and focus on bringing your nose to your toes. Hold for 10-20 breathes.

Upward facing dog: On your belly place your hands on the floor next to your chest. Straighten your arms so your chest comes off the floor, but keep contact with your pelvis on the floor. Hold for 8-10 breathes.

Camel (Modified): Kneeling on the floor, place your hands in fists at the small of your back. Squeeze your shoulders while lifting your chest. Look up at the ceiling or rest your head all the way back on your shoulders. Hold for 10-20 breathes.
